| Arrange the letters and numbers in the setting board, opening the scissor arms of each letter. |
Place the metal blank in the setting board between the top and bottom arms. |
Close the arms so they rest on either side of the blank number plate. |

| Rest the setting board against the roller and turn the handle. The roller feeds the setting board evenly. |
Open the arms and remove the plate which is now embossed in 3D. |
The embossed plate is now ready to have ink applied or foiled to the raised sections. |
